This song is from one of my favorite movies ever, Moonrise Kingdom, by the quirky film-maker Wes Anderson. For me, this is a movie about love. All kinds of love. Young love. Love that has died. Unrequited love. The love one feels for comrades/friends. I found out this is a movie dedicated to love – to Anderson’s love that is: The name at the end of the film, “To Juman,” references Anderson’s long-time partner Juman Malouf.  Sweetness.

She is a writer and artist as well, and the two of them were invited by the Kunsthistoriches Museum Wien in Vienna, Austria to to create an exhibit using existing artifacts. The items they chose, and the manner in which they arranged them makes for a very interesting exhibit. You can check it out here:
