The first time I heard Rachael Yamagata, was back in 2005 on a show called The O.C. I loved watching that show with my daughter’s father when I was pregnant with her. I bought the CD, Happenstance, as soon as I figured out who it was.
Fast forward about 18 months, and I was listening to “Reason Why” over and over as I was leaving. Do yourself a favor and listen to it. It has a bunch of mournful yet beautiful songs: “Reason Why,” “Paper Doll,“ “Wore Me Down,” and an awesome hidden track “Ode To…” I love it when they do that:)
