Lake Street Dive – “What I’m Doing Here”

by Jackie | Jul 6, 2018

I found this song on the Tedeschi Trucks Fan Facebook page. Their lead singer, Rachael Price, has got some soulful pipes! If you like this, head over to the Alternate Takes section to check out their version of the Hall & Oates song, Rich Girl – the girl on bass, Bridget Kearney, TEARS IT UP, and the rest of the band gels:) They also do funny takes on some classics, and an annual Halloween song…that ought to be coming out soon!

Hello:) I’m Jackie. I live in and am from just outside of Atlanta, GA, USA. Amor Vincit Omnia is Latin for Love Conquers All, and I’ve been fond of that phrase since I found it by accident in the back of a dictionary in the “foreign phrases” section quite a long time ago.

I purchased the original iteration of this site, AmorVincitOmnia.us, the day after the 2016 presidential election here in the United States and wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with it, only that I needed to purchase the domain. Learn More
